Solid option for portable dvd-its a compromise

We appropriate bought a van as a consequence did not want to spend $1500 for the above dvd gambler. I researched portable dvds thoroughly as a consequence decided on this compromise. Picture is not since good since some, only sound is decent, as a consequence set is built to withstand some abuse. I tested battery life, as a consequence since expected, did not get anywhere nearby the 13 hour battery life advertised. I used the daylight setting for brightness as a consequence had the volume along to max level to reassess real use conditions. The dvd gambler lasted 5 hours. I am sure if you use the “moonlight” setting (darker pic), you will get longer battery life, only that is not how we will be using the dvd gambler. We want the best pic possible. So am happy with this gambler then far. We used the mojo dvd mount for between the fore seats as a consequence the set works well-the mount is easily installed/removed. Panasonic DVD-LS86 could be well materials, only we were happy to get away from the hanging bag option. Also, the audio out harbor is directly in the path of the velcro attachment on the mojo, then not ideal, only the harbor can still be utilized.
